Stories in Living Memory

The Close in Living Memory

The Hereford Cathedral Close Oral History film was an 18-month oral history project and it certainly revealed a rich vein of memories and beautiful photographs – from tales of the WWII fire wardens, to a Royal picnic in the rain, to modern-day students who form strong friendships while waiting for the bus.

Complementing the full-lenghth film is The Learning Zone which comprises two short films and a book of National Curriculum-linked classroom activities.

“Fab stuff! Love the fact that you’ve come up with lots of different, fun ideas for presenting to the children and ways for them to record their work” – Leominster Junior School teacher

“Children who see this DVD will be very lucky” – St.Martins primary school pupil.
