Thanks to emergency funding from National Lottery Heritage Funding we’ve been able to go back into the Catcher Media archives to pull out some treasures from our archives. One of the things we’ve been able to do is to go back to the original footage of our 2014 project Chewing The Cud: Memories from Hereford’s Old Livestock Market to bring you a selection of newly edited interviews. There’s lots of great moments that didn’t make it into the final cut, and we’re sure you’re going to enjoy the tall tales and fascinating oral histories told by our great interviewees. There’s hilarious tales of doughnut competitions and staff at the Dean Leigh cafe from David Probert, Ken Jones sending orders via pigeon to Daisy Jones and singer Tom Jones at the poultry market from Denis Schiavon and many more. We’re adding new interviews all the time.
