#ThanksToYou to National Lottery players

Categories: Events

We’d like to say a very big thank you to all of the National Lottery players out there and to National Lottery Heritage Fund for supporting our heritage work over the past decade. We simply couldn’t have done it without you and we hope we’ve repaid your trust in us by serving up the public some great quality heritage projects throughout this time.

On a personal level it’s meant that we’ve been able to connect much more with our local community in Herefordshire, and to gain insights into our own county that we wouldn’t have had the chance to do otherwise. We’ve have meet some lovely people and have been really wowed at how welcoming people have been – letting us into their lives, sharing their stories and volunteering with us. We even got to meet glam rock star Noddy Holder as he was keen to get involved in a heritage project about Bloxwich, a town he grew up in.

So a big thanks again to National Lottery Heritage Fund and our recent partners Herefordshire Council’s Archives, Libraries and Learning and Achievement Services. And here’s to more exciting projects!
